A Piece of Didsbury's History


"Stories that Transform a Nation" Storytellers Night - June 6 at 7:00 pm at the Didsbury Memorial Complex. 
This is a unique storytelling concert to celebrate Canada 150. Storytellers, musicians and poets share stories of Canada
told from the heart of the oral tradition. Click here for more information!

Community Block Party - June 9 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Main Street Didsbury. 
The Canada 150 Community Leaders will be out and about getting families involved in decorating a special Canada 150 Legacy Piece. Details to be announced. 
Canada Day Color Run - July 1 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Didsbury Memorial Park pathways. 
Get out and get active with the Town of Didsbury in this FUN 2.5 or 5k run/walk where you will go through colour stations and get colour bombed along the way! Celebrate Canada's 150th Birthday at the finish line with a blast of RED colour powder covering you from head to toe! Click here for more information
Canada Day Celebrations - July 1 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Didsbury Memorial Complex Park. 
Along with all the usual Canada Day festivities, the Canada 150 Community Leaders will be out with giant birthday cards for all those born in 1917 and 1967. Come out and enjoy a full day of celebrating this beautiful country we call home. Don't miss the Annual Canada Day Fire Works show at the Ross Ford Elementary School fields beginning at dark!
