DIDSBURY FARM & RANCH BONSPIEL
Month: January
This annual Bonspiel held at the Didsbury Curling Rink and facilitated by the Didsbury Farm & Ranch Committee has been running for 26 years in the community. Approximately 10 teams join in on the weeklong Bonspiel which encourages positive relationships and networking between local businesses and local farmers! Each team consists of 3 "farmers" and 1 "business person". For more information on this annual event, contact Joanne Braun.  





ANNUAL "RIDE FOR DAD" CHARITY HOCKEY GAME - MOUNTAIN VIEW COLTS
Month: January
Mountain View Colts Sports and Recreation Association organize and host this annual charity hockey game with proceeds going towards research for and awareness of prostate cancer.  In 2013,  Three Hills Thrashers joined forces and together raised over $40,000.00 towards this fight.  Since the beginning of this Charity game,  the Mountain View Colts have raised over $165,000.00 in the fight against prostate cancer.   Gary Janz, Co-founder and President of the National  Motorcycle Ride for Dad Association, was in attendance at the 2013 game and he was quoted as saying  -“ I am speechless – they (the players) are amazing ambassadors for an amazing cause and they do more good, not only in raising the money but in raising awareness". DIDSBURY SHOW N' SHINE
Month: May - Saturday before Mother's Day
Car enthusiasts come from all over to show off their machines at this annual event held on Main Street Didsbury. The event includes a display of hundreds of vehicles, door prizes and lots of fun! Some of the events at this year's Show N' Shine include: 100' Shoot Out, Burnout box, Auto Dyno, Stunt Bike Show, BMX Show, a Live Band, and Beer Gardens. The Didsbury Car Club is proud to raise funds for a variety of non-profit community organizations! 
 








RURAL ALBERTA MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR DAD
Month: June 
The fourth weekend of June every year, the Ride for Dad charity bike ride takes place. Starting in various locations in central Alberta and ending in Didsbury, this poker run/charity ride raises funds for Prostate Cancer research and awareness in Central Alberta. This event brings in hundreds of bikes with prizes and a ton of fun! For more information visit RideForDad.ca  
 










SOAP BOX DERBY
Month: September
Hosted by the Didsbury Car Club, the Soap Box Derby is one of the most popular - and most fun - family events of the year! DAYS OF YORE
Month: August Heritage Weekend
Two days, dozens of historical reenactments, sword fights, big cannons, and live combat! A golden opportunity to share history during Alberta's Heritage Weekend. This event takes place at Rosebud Park at the east entrance to Didsbury, right across from the Rosebud Valley Campground. DIDSBURY FCA RODEO
Month: August
The annual Didsbury Fair & Rodeo is held every August which consists of the Elks Parade and Pancake breakfasts around town, the Didsbury Ag Society Rodeo held at the Didsbury Agricultural Grounds. MOUNTAIN VIEW ARTS FESTIVAL
Month: September 
A showcase of all that is arts, culture, and heritage in Didsbury and the surrounding region. The Festival is held throughout town, with exhibits, old-time crafts, and demonstrations at the Didsbury Museum; author talks and writers at the Didsbury Library; food and fun at the historic Didsbury Train Station, and the Artisan Village in the Rosebud River Valley, with artists, musical entertainment, street performers, and buskers. SHOWCASE DIDSBURY 
Month: September
This annual event happens on the third Thursday of September. This is an opportunity for organizations and community groups to showcase what they do and what they offer for the residents of Didsbury. COUNTRY CHRISTMAS
Month: November
 The Town of Didsbury is quite possibly the most beautifully decorated community in Alberta during the Christmas season. Held on the first Friday in December, Country Christmas offers great downtown shopping, horse-drawn wagon rides, music, food, entertainment, and a visit from jolly old St. Nick.
