As a local public body, the Town of Didsbury is subject to the Access to Information Act and Protection of Privacy Act (AIPP) which replaced the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) in mid-2025.
Any communications, including email, sent to the domain name owned by the Town of Didsbury is considered to be in the custody and control of the Town of Didsbury and is therefore subject to AIPP Legislation.
Personal information collected by the Town of Didsbury will only be used by authorized Town of Didsbury staff to fulfill the purpose for which it was originally collected, or for a use consistent with that purpose. This information will not be disclosed to other public bodies or individuals unless otherwise authorized by law or with your consent.
